A housing provider may decide to refund an application fee for different business reasons. In this case, the housing provider incurs the total cost of the fee that is refunded.

Who can refund an application fee
An Organization user with an Administrator or Managing Agent role can initiate refunds and manage payment methods in Settings.
Users with the role of Agent or Sub Agent will need to request assistance when needing to refund an application fee.

How to initiate a refund
Open the Renter Resume of the application to refund. From the resume header, click on the Payment icon.
Then click Refund at the bottom of the screen.
If you have not yet set up a the Refund Application Fee payment method, you will be presented with the steps to save your card details.
Manage payment methods
Your Refund Application Fee payment methods can be managed in your Settings. From your dropdown menu, click Settings, then Payments.
Visible to only Administrators and Managing Agents, the Refund Application Fee section will be the second option in the Payments page.
