Depending on the options and actions completed by the applicant, an agent may see a dash.
A dash will always represent Not Applicable. An agent can only see Application data when a user has submitted an Application file: Payment.
This article explains reasons why an agent would see a dash for certain user cases:
Credit
The applicant is a Roommate or Guarantor and has not completed payment in order to submit their Application: Group Applications.
Upon payment, an applicant must complete the Identity Verification security step. After passing the security step, the applicant's TransUnion reports are returned to the agent. An agent will see a dash above Credit if the Roommate or Guarantor as not paid and submitted their application.
Income
The applicant is a Roommate or Guarantor and has not completed the Employment section of the Application. Employment Information is required in order to submit an application.
No matter what is selected on the Application for Employment Information, an applicant is asked to upload supporting documents as proof of affordability. Only after Employment Information is complete, will the Income icon be applicable.
Employment
The applicant has selected Self Employed or Other on the Application.
When a user selects Currently Employed, Intellirent requests supervisor contact information in order to help collect verification of employment for the agent's review.
If the applicant selects Self Employed or Other, a supervisor contact is not required and a request for verification does not go out.
Tenancy
The applicant has selected I do not rent for Present Address.
On the Application, when submitting Tenancy Information, if the applicant selects I am currently renting, Intellirent request landlord information in order to help collect verification of tenancy for the agent's review.
If the applicant selects I do not rent, a landlord contact is not required and a request for verification does not go out.
Pet
The applicant has selected, I do not have a pet or service animal.
Like Income, Pet is an actionable item for the agent.
