Find Your Settings
Your account Settings can be found by clicking on the drop down menu by your name at the top right corner. From the drop down, click on Settings.
Account Profile
Once in Settings, you'll immediately land in Account Profile where you can find data that is private to your Intellirent account.
Change Your Email or Password
Your email address and password are required when logging into your secure dashboard. See detailed instructions for resetting your password here.
Business Information
Scroll down past email and password to Business Address, and enter all fields within that section.
Invalid Business Address Error
If you are receiving a banner error message on your a message on your published rental property, this may be due to missing data in your Business Address section found in Settings.
Requirements
Your Business Address is a TransUnion requirement used to verify your account and provide important TransUnion updates regarding credit reports.
*Unless you reside at your rental property, your Business Address should not be the rental property address.
Business Address information is never shared with your potential tenants, or Intellirent listing site advertising partners. The information required in this section is for TransUnion credit reporting and Intellirent security purposes when verifying your account: Potential Credit and Background Check Errors
*Phone is required, Extension is not required.
Save your Business Address settings by clicking Change Address.
Notifications & Home Screen
Scroll down to update your Notifications or your preferred Home Screen. Remember to click the Save button in order to launch any changes!
Notifications
Messages from Intellirent regarding your account activity are sent via email. The types of notifications include,
- Rental Application Submitted – related to applications that are associated with your account only. Get notified about new applications or updates on the applicant's activity such as new documentation submitted.
- Verifications Updates – related to the automated Employment and Tenancy Verifications.
- Organization Application Activity (only visible to Managing Agents) – when you are working with a team. Get notified about activity for applications that are not associated with your account.
Home Screen
Manage the main screen you land on when logging into your account.
- Tasks – disabled by default. Click the toggle to enable the Tasks page and select as the main screen.
- Applicants – selected by default. When logging into your account, you will always land on your Applicants list view.
- Properties – when selected the Properties list view will be the main page you see when logging into your account.
Public Profile
The account information found in the Public Profile section will be used for public display during the application process if an invite was sent and when the applicant is submitting their file. The Company Information will also be added to the Renter Resume on the Cover Letter.
In addition, the Public Account information is used if the Rental Marketing feature is enabled and depending on what data the syndication site will accept.
Personal and Company Information
The personal contact information and company name in your Public Profile Section, will be sent to partner advertising sites when Rental Marketing is activated.
Billing
By default, the application fee is paid by the potential renter upon submitting their application. See Application Process for Renters: Payment.
If an agent would like to pay for the application fee instead of the applicant paying through Intellirent, the charge type can be changed under Billing.
Change Payor Source to Agent
Click the toggle to change the charge type and activate agent billing. A credit card is required in order to save changes.
Application Criteria
Manage how your submitted applications appear in your account. Application criteria is private and will help you quickly view and better manage applications that have been submitted. Learn more about the Application Criteria here.
Security
Add extra layers of security to your account. Learn more about the Two Factor Authentication (2FA).
Marketing
Manage marketing for all properties in your account and view the list of partner sites. Learn about other rental marketing features.
