A health check will be performed for document records uploaded by the applicant as their proof of income. During the health check records are scanned to search for authenticity and potential signs of manipulation. Results are returned to the agent for review and to assist in completing the verification of income.

A health check will be performed on documents uploaded by the applicant as their proof of income. During the health check digital records are scanned to search for authenticity and potential signs of manipulation. Results are returned to the agent for review. An agent should review to complete the verification of income.

Review Proof of Income
Click on any of the Income icons from the Applicants list view or the Applicant Details. The modal will open and you will see the Supporting Documents tab.
Applicant Stated Income
Located on the bottom left of the Income modal. An applicant is asked to enter their total monthly income as they complete the online application. The value the applicant has entered is displayed as the Applicant Stated Income.
Estimated Average Income
Available only when Income Report is enabled. Located to the right of the Applicant Stated Income. The estimated average income that was calculated on the generated report using the applicant's connected financial records. The estimated average income amount can only be populated after the report has been generated. Learn more about the Income Report.
Result Status
Documents are scanned only after an application is submitted. The status of the scan can vary as described in the following details below. The status of the income verification will depend on whether the agent has completed the review or not.
NOTE: Verification of Income will remain pending until the agent has completed their review.
Scanning in progress
The file has been submitted and the scan is in progress.
Scanned
The file has been submitted and the scan is complete, with no signs of manipulation.
Inconclusive
The file has been submitted, and at least one file that was uploaded is an image. A document in any image format (.png, .jpeg, e.g.) cannot be checked for signs of manipulation.
Warning
The file has been submitted and scanned, with findings of additional traces that are not indicative of manipulation after the documented was created (e.g. documents generated in MS Word).
Potential Risk
The file has been submitted and scanned, with findings of forged or modified objects within the document.
Response Terms Explained
The following fields may be included in the response available within the returned, scanned file.

is_forged: Summarized result of the analysis. "true" indicates that the image/document is detected as modified.

map: In case the image/document is detected as modified this field will include a base64 representation of the output file (image or PDF). For images it will contain the heatmap of the manipulation when local traces are detected; for PDFs it will contain the resulting PDF file with the inpainted results.

global_traces: Result of the global traces analysis. "true" indicates that the image/document is detected as modified but the manipulation cannot be located in any specific region.

local_traces: The "is_forged" subfield set to "true" indicates that localized traces of manipulation have been found. For images, other subfields will include the obtained score and the applied threshold.

screen (image files only): The "is_forged" subfield set to "true" indicates that localized traces of manipulation have been found. Other subfields include the obtained score and the applied threshold. Screen detection refers to a module that analyzes if an image has been re-captured from a screen, it is basically a liveness test for ID documents. If this doesn't add any particular value, we can disable this detector.

modified_objects (PDF files only): It will contain one entry for every PDF element detected as modified. This entry will be referenced by page number and an element identifier.

modified_images (PDF files only): It will contain one entry for every image element inside a PDF detected as modified. This entry will be referenced by page number and an element identifier.

warnings: Some additional traces that are not indicative of manipulation but might be of interest for some use cases (e.g. documents generated in MS Word).
The "modified_objects" field (which only applies to PDF files) contains the details of the modifications detected in the PDF file, which are inpainted in the PDF returned in the "map" field. The possible modifications that are detected are:
