All adult applicants must submit a separate application and pay a separate fee.
A Co-applicant is a roommate (adult occupant applying to live in the rental property), or guarantor/co-signer (adult not living in the rental but will assist in guaranteeing the lease agreement). Learn more about applicant user roles here.
If you started an application and invited a co-applicant, they will receive an email from info@myintellirent.com asking them to apply separately.
Troubleshooting
If your co-applicants did not receive the email inviting them to apply:
Check that invited emails were submitted correctly
- Log into your account here.
- Click on Personal Information > Co-occupants or Guarantors
Check all spam and/or junk folders
Ask co-applicants to check their spam or junk folders. Email providers and email settings can cause deliverability to vary.
Create account using the same invite
Ask co-applicants to create their account as a renter the same way the primary created their account.
Renters cannot create applicant accounts from Intellirent's main website. Learn more about submitting a new application.
After invited a co-applicant, that co-applicant's email address will then be associated with the application that invited the co-applicant. It is the email address that links/groups applications together.
If a co-applicant is creating their account without their invite email notification, it's important that the co-applicant uses the email address the inviter entered for them.
For example, in the photo below, the applicant Robert Uphold invited Johan Viera, johanviera@email.com, as a roommate.
If Johan creates their application using the email johanviera1234@email.com, Johan will not be associated with Robert's application. The applicants will not be grouped together.
