Each adult applicant must submit a separate application using a unique email address, and pay a separate fee. Intellirent assists leasing agents/landlords in collecting one file per adult applicant.
Intellirent also helps agents organize applications by grouping co-occupants, and/or guarantors.
An Occupant is an adult or minor, who will be living in the rental. Co-occupants under the age of 18 are minors and are not required to submit a separate application.
A Primary applicant is the first adult occupant who submits their application. Primary applicants are required to enter the total number of occupants on the first page of their application.
A Roommate is a co-applicant and adult occupant who is applying to live in the rental property. Any associated adult applicant who submits after the primary applicant will be labeled a roommate.
A Guarantor, or Co-Signer is an adult (co-applicant) who is helping in the application approval process, but will not be living in the rental. A Guarantor application will be different from a Roommate application as agents/landlords do not need to know vehicle or pet information.
