Intellirent is a secure software used by leasing professionals and property owners throughout the United States. An application is unique to an agent and/or management company. Not all forms and rental business requirements are created equal. An application is customizable to fit the rental business needs and designed to provide a secure and simple file-sharing process.
For rental property and approval process questions, an applicant should always contact their leasing professional, or housing provider directly.
Note: In partnership with TransUnion, many of the personal information fields are requirements of TransUnion. An applicant should complete the form using only their personal, full, and legal information. Incorrect information will result in delays.
This article outlines the following,
Application & Agent/Property Association
An application file is required to be associated/connected with an agent account. If you are submitting a new application, create your account using the invite to apply and agent specific application URL that could have been provided via email or text. See Group Application details below.
Open the invite to apply link associated with your rental housing provider and Create or Begin Your Applicant, do not Login to an existing account.
Troubleshooting
If you cannot find the invite to apply email, check your spam or junk folders. An email sent by your agent will come from info@myintellirent.com, Subject: Rental Application from [Agent Name], or Rental Application for [Street Address] from [Agent Name].
If the invite to apply is for a specific property, you will see that property photo in the email invite.
Property Review/Selection
On the Payment section before submitting a file, an applicant may need to select their desired rental property before submitting their application. If a property is not listed in the drop down selection, an applicant has the option to select Other, then enter the address in the provided fields.
It's important to note: Creating your applicant account using only the link provided to you, ensures your submitted application will be sent to the correct agent/provider for their review. Each rental housing provider and associated rental application is unique to a property or the Management's criteria.
Warning Message: App-Agent association
If an applicant has logged into an existing account using a different rental company/agent URL, a warning message will be is displayed. Find more details on Multiple Applications below.
Group Applications
Are you applying with a Co-occupant/Roommate and you're still looking for that email invite? It's possible the applicant who invited you added the wrong email. You can ask your co-applicant to log back into their account to check, or simply reach out to our live support team by submitting a request here.
*Please be sure to provide us with your co-applicant's info and/or your agent's contact information.
Multiple Applications
When needing to apply to more than one rental property, and the properties are not managed by the same provider, you will need to submit a new application.
- Do NOT login to an existing account
- Decide if you would like to use the same or a different email address
- Repeat the steps for App & Agent/Property Association to create a new account
Using one email address
When using one email address to create multiple application accounts within a 60 day period, an applicant user will only have continued access to the most recent account. See Cannot Access Previous Application Account.
