You have the right to dispute credit report information online.
This article outlines the steps to Start a Dispute:
- Login to your Renter account
- Click on Credit & Background Report
- Click on Start a Dispute
- Be prepared
Login to your Renter account
Login to the account associated with the report concern.

IMPORTANT
Information submitted on the application is used to generate credit and background reports. A renter should always ensure all data submitted on the application is correct. Any discrepancies will lead to delays and potential inaccuracies on reports.
If inaccurate information was submitted on the application form, updates should be made accordingly. After updating and saving correct information, the renter should reach out to support.
Please note: The support team will make attempts assist, though we cannot guarantee Experian will provide updated reports. When reports cannot be updated, a renter may be advised to submit a new application.
Credit & Background Report
In the right panel navigation, click on the Credit & Background Report tab to open your reports.
Click on Start a Dispute
Scroll to find the Start a Dispute button.

Please be prepared by reviewing your reports to locate exact details of the information that you believe to be incorrect. Next, gather supporting documents to help avoid delays in resolving your dispute.
