Request Activation
To activate the integration, from your Rent Manager account, navigate to your Available Integrations screen. Administration > Customization > Available Integrations
From Available Integrations, search "Intellirent", then click Request Activation. Our team will be notified of your request and a representative will be in contact.
Properties
The integration is a two-way (bidirectional) sync. Intellirent needs to first obtain your available rentals from Rent Manager, before you're able to send an Intellirent Application to your Rent Manager account.
Configure Online Listings Filters
Follow the steps outlined in the Integration Onboarding Guide to use the Rent Manager Online Listings Filter Configuration. All active Rent Manager Property and/or Units that meet the filters you've saved will be automatically updated in your Intellirent account.
User Defined Fields (UDF)
If in the event an available rental does not meet any Online Listings Filter Criteria to then sync to your Intellirent account properly, you may use a Rent Manager UDF.
Follow the steps outlined in the User Defined Fields Guide to update configure your Rent Manager Property and Unit UDFs.
IMPORTANT: When sending Intellirent Application data to your Rent Manager account, Rent Manager requires that the Application data contain Rent Manager Property and/or Unit data. Therefore, obtaining the Rent Manager Property and/or Unit data is the first step to ensuring a successful integration.
Once your Rent Manager account is properly configured using the options above, Intellirent will begin to receive available rental data.
Intellirent Properties will be updated on the hour, every hour between 8 AM and 6 PM, Eastern.
Applications
Intellirent's Rent Manager integration helps teams quickly populate Intellirent application data into Rent Manager as a Contact in a Prospect record. Each potential renter/applicant will be a Contact within the Prospect record.
Send button
An application file can be sent from the Applicant Details or the Renter Resume.
From the Application Details:
From the Renter Resume:
Resend button
When resending the application file from Intellirent to your Rent Manager account, the previously created Prospect record and Contacts within that Prospect record will be updated with any data that was newly collected after the initial send.
Send button disabled
The Send button will be disabled for reasons related to the associated Desired Rental.
Rent Manager will only accept application data if that application data includes Rent Manager property data.
If the associated Desired Rental was not published through the integration, Rent Manager will not accept the application data, therefore, the application cannot be sent and the Send File button will be disabled.
You may choose to edit the Desired Rental at any time from the Applicant Details. Learn more
Custom address
The potential renter did not select a Published Property as their Desired Rental when applying, instead the renter selected Other, then typed in an address.
If the associated Desired Rental was not published through the integration, Rent Manager will not accept the application data, therefore, the application cannot be sent and the Send File button will be disabled.
NOTE: If you would like to prevent a renter from entering a custom address, please reach out to your Intellirent representative to request that the custom address option be removed on your application.
Directly published
The potential renter selected a Desired Rental and that property was published manually by the Listing Agent.
If the associated Desired Rental was not published through the integration, Rent Manager will not accept the application data, therefore, the application cannot be sent and the Send File button will be disabled.
Merge Prospects
If a Prospect and Contact record was previously created, whether manually or through a different automation source that was not the Intellirent integration, sending through the Intellirent integration will create a duplicate Prospect record.
To mitigate the issue, Rent Manager provides the ability to copy one prospect and all contacts on that account into another current prospect or current tenant account.
