Immediately after an applicant with a social security number submits payment, they will be displayed a TransUnion Identity Verification questionnaire (IDV).
This is a security step that is timed and directly related to your applicant's credit background.
*It is important that the person who is associated with the social security number answer these security questions.
After the questions are completed, agents are immediately be returned the full credit report, plus nationwide criminal and eviction notices.
*Depending on customizations and laws in different counties, your credit report may not provide both criminal and eviction reports.
Your applicant will have 7 attempts to complete the IDV step. If the questions are not accepted, it is because they have answered at least one of the questions incorrectly. TransUnion will not tell you which question is incorrect, nor does Intellirent have access to any answers.
If they fail all 7 attempts, they will be prompted to contact TransUnion directly.
After the questions are completed, the applicant will land on their dashboard where they can review all submitted details of the application, make any necessary edits and/or submit missing documents.
